Not yet. I'm going to try to research it some. I picked it up at the local pawn shop for a mere $125.00. good deal I thought. there has been some repair work done to the feed ramp/mechanism but I can clean that up easy enough. _________________ "Welcome to Tennessee,....Patron state of shootin' stuff.".....Shooter

Cheech that's a beauty, iv'e got a MARLIN 12 G bolt action goose gun, and I have to say there's something about them, iv'e never seen a 16 g.Is it muli-choke or what. Looking at the knurl on the end of the barrell. The goose gun iv'e got is fixed full choke. Is it single shot as I don' see a magazine. _________________ .17 marlin vs.

Neat old shotgun, I'm curious about that "Mulno sighting dome", what exactly is it? _________________ Savage 93R17GV Bushnell Banner 4-12X40

The address of the H&R factory in Worcester Mass isn't any good. That factory burned down when My dad was a kid. That 16 ga is from the early to mid 50's from what I know of H&R shotties. Cheech get me the serial number and I'll get the exact dates for you!!!! _________________ SEABEES "CAN DO"

I'll get some close-ups of it when I get home. Looks like just a fixed spot on the action to use in sighting. _________________ "Welcome to Tennessee,....Patron state of shootin' stuff.".....Shooter

From what I read so far it looks to be a 1952 model, H&R. the Mulno sighting dome, was designed to raise your sighting line, the article I read said H&R guaranteed absolute accuracy out of their 12 and 16 gauges that came out with it. _________________ SEABEES "CAN DO"

That H&R looks just like the Mossy 12G I nearly bought a while back. It had the poly-choke too.
I left it in the end as I heard bad things about those 12G bolt guns and it was in very run down condition.
My LGS has since sold it to somebody else.
I hope it cleans up nicely for you Cheech. _________________ E.
