Holy sheeit Batman!!!! Now that would SUCK!!!!! It'll never pass!!! If you read what they wrote, they are taking away any and all civil liberties from you just for owning a gun or failure to turn over a single 22 cartridge???????? Iowa is one of the big deer, and bird hunting states, that relies alot on Hunting and it's revenue to ever think about passing some sheeit like this. I bet it is just some stupid tree hugger that got bored and decided he/she is going to exercise their use of the pen and paper and filed papers. There is NO WAY they can remove OUR civil liberties just for being gun owners.
This is more preposterous than any that ANY californian or transplant could think up!!!!!

Yeah they have but the wording in this proposal is fu*#ked. There is NO way they infringe on civil liberties that bad and get away with it. Hell the NRA will wash their asses with this one and so will all the lawyers following with their lawsuits. Iowa wouldn't stand a chance. Yeah it may be one of the big voter states but by the time this was pushed through and enacted on it would be the poorest state in the nation.

Haven't heard of this, but I agree w/ Dave. That is so over the top, it borders on insanity!
Speaking of which, the jury found Mark Becker guilty of murder in the first degree today in the Ed Thomas shooting last year. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, Ed was a Nationally known high school football coach here in Iowa who was shot in the schools weight room. Becker plead not guilty by reason of insanity. Didn't work, although he is one fu*#ked up individual! |
